The ramp arrived today. Yes, it has weight (26lbs), but so does my dog ( 60 lbs),therefore, I needed something sturdy. It sets up easily and my dog took to it after a few attempts. My dog's hip strength is starting to diminish, so rather than strain my back lifting her in the car,not to mention getting covered in mud, this ramp is just the thing. I have a 4runner, so stowing it in the back is not a problem.
<br />I gave a 4 star rating because one end of the ramp arrived cracked due to shipping. Padding the ramp corners inside the box with strofoam or bubblewrap would help with the product arriving unbroken.

This ramp is light weight yet sturdy and very easy to set up and take down. Our greyhound had never used a ramp before. We found laying it flat on the ground and allowing her to walk back and forth on it gave her confidence to walk on it when elevated.

There are a lot more expensive ramps out there, and we decided to go with this one because of the price. The ramp seems very sturdy! Its quite a bit heavier and bulkier than I was expecting, but that's even better for our 120 lb 11 month old Newfoundland, Zoe. We have a 2007 Chevy HHR, and my husband was getting tired for lifting her in and out of the back. Zoe didn't much care for it either, but the ramp is a wonderful back saver!! Just note that this is not a lightweight ramp.

Very durable, folds up nice for storage. Has tracking on it so your dog won't slip if it is raining/wet out. Overall happy with it.

This was too high priced for a large dog ramp, where the dog slips & 2 people need to help. One to hold the ramp so it doesnt slip, the other to guide the dog down, so it doesn't slip. It need maybe to be carpeted, and better gripping top & bottom. It bounces from the weight of the animal, and folding isn't fun either. I wished I could have seen it in a store first. I would have had second thoughts.
