I was so excited when the Flea came, I knew Rosco would love it. Unfortunately within 15 minutes of him playing with Flea he had a hole and was already pulling out the stuffing. We sewed up Flea and not 10 minutes after giving him back to Rosco there was another hole. I wanted a softer toy for in his cage at night but this one doesn’t seem safe at all.

My Westie, Ozzie, loves this toy. It is adorable, but not for very strong chewers. We have to ration Ozzies play time with it because he tries to chew the arms and legs off! It is a good size and would be a great toy for a small to medium dog that wants to play with a stuffed toy.

You could go to one of those crane machines and get a toy for a quarter that would be near the same quality. From the previous reviews (and the price), I was expecting something slightly more durable. My dog’s teeth put a hole in the fabric the first time he played with it and now the stuffing is coming out.

Our German Shepherd, Max (the world’s best dog, although I am sure you all would debate that), loves The Flea. He is on about his tenth one.
Max adores squeaker toys, and no matter how many different ones we give him, he always chooses Flea when playing. It is hysterical to see Flea left in his positions–laying on the floor like he was shot in the back… carried to the window by Max and left perched on the sill… with his little legs sticking out from under the bed—
This is a great toy! I wish it was as durable as others have said, but we go through a Flea every month. The squeaker does last a long time, and with the powerful jaws of a GS biting on the poor googly eyed creature multiple times a day, a month of living is great as far as I am concerned.
