I’ve never owned a dog before getting a lab in February 2003. I purchased this book thinking that I would learn a lot, and learn how to train this dog which needed to be done ASAP. It took forever to recieve the book once I ordered it. As I ready through the book, it didn’t tell me anything that I hadn’t already figured out for myself, or naturally assumed about dogs. It did not tell you how to train the dog at all! I read the book from cover to cover, and learned nothing. Again, I’ve never owned a dog before. This book was a complete waste of time!!
